At the southwest corner of Adanac and Commercial, in the old Astorinos/Kettle parking lot, there is a tree.
It’s not a grand tree; fairly ordinary actually. However, the other day my wife noticed that the trunk was surrounded by a whole lot of suckers.
Looking up, she saw that the suckers had wound themselves up to the full height of the tree. And at the very top, were half a dozen beautiful pink roses.
Beautiful roses where I would never have thought to look for them. It is always worth looking up!
